We've finally experienced some midwestern rain. It definitely isn't 3 inches apart. It starts and stops really abruptly and usually doesn't give us too much trouble. Sister Wilde and I were walking out of walmart today and realized that the humidity was like 90%. It felt like walking out of a jacuzzi.
Sister Wilde and I love souvienere shopping. I bought a necklace, an art print of the news paper article in which relief society was organized, and 2 books, one is a big text on the history of nauvoo, normally $40 and I got it for $10. We found the Christmas ornaments you collect Mom, the gold ones like your cinderella's pumpkin. You can get 3 of them for $20 at the Nauvoo Christmas shop. If Rachel wants a necklace charm, you need to go to the Old House Book Store, Mom, you'd like this store too, it is a used LDS bookstore.
We got our costumes for giving tours of the sites and for Sunset on the Mississippi yesterday. It was a ton of fun! I got a "stage" Sister dress because the girl that was originally assigned that dress didn't fit into it but she could fit into the dress assigned to me. The dress is gorgeous, I'm sending pictures in the mail because I don't think my computer has a SD card drive.
My section is doing better now. Elder Blackinton said "the horn section has arrived... at least on that one measure" yesterday. That was pretty exciting. He's always telling me to play softer which is such a difference from Dr. Brooks always telling me that I can't play too loud for him.
Oh, the music store here can clean my horn for $55 at the end of the summer, can you call Blue Rider and see how much a cleaning is there. I know how much you love supporting the Peralas, Dad, so if the store here is cheaper, I'll get it cleaned here. I know also understand why the missionaries spend so much money here. They require us to eat lunch at the visitors center and it's $4 a day. I have $200 left in my account, so if I could get some more here soon, that would be great.
Nick, Dad, or Chris, would you like a sunstone tie clip? They're pretty cool and not too expensive.
Thats all I can think of right now and siste wilde is waiting. I can write every sunday and wednesday, so you'll here from me soon.

(Well, if she really wants to change her title, she'll have to do it later. -Rachel)
